Fisketorget i Bergen er kanskje det mest kjente turistattraksjonen Bergen har. Mye på bakgrunn av de levende fiskene i kummer, hvor man velger sin fisk, får den sløyet og partert/filetert.

Fisketorget har en lang historie. En enkel presentasjon av torget og dets historie finnes på hjemmesiden til Torget i Bergen. Torget har ikke alltid vært hvor det er i dag. Først rundt 1700 ble lokaliseringen i bunnen av Vågen, Vågsbunnen. Før dette var den forskjellige steder langs Bryggen, hvor det meste av næringslivet hadde sin virksomhet.

Fisketoget ble utvidet med grønnsaker og frukt, samt blomster i 1923.

Rundetårnet ble bygget i 1929, og ble brukt som kiosk og offentlig toalett.

Dette er et sted hvor det alltid er mange mennesker. Vær obs på mugglers. Cacheen er likevel plassert ett sted hvor det skal være mulig å skjule hva som går for seg :)

Bergen Fish market is probably the most known attraction in Bergen. Much of the reason for this got to be the fishes you can see alive swimming in small pools, pick out your fish for your dinner, and have it cleaned and sliced by the traders like you want to have it prepared.

The Fish market has a long history. It was around 1700 it was placed at “Vågsbunnen”. Before this it was different places along “Bryggen”, where most of Bergen’s trade took place. A siple presentation is available at the homepage of  "Torget i Bergen" (The Bergen Market).

The Fish market has grown to be a market for fruit, vegetables and also flowers in 1923.

The “Roundtower” was build in 1929, and where a newsstand and public toilets.

This is a place where it most likely is people 24/7. So be aware of mugglers. The cache is hidden at a place where it should be possible to hide what you are doing
