We will be meeting in the fellowship hall of The Epiphany Lutheran Church, in Conyers, GA on Saturday, December 13th from 4 to 6. Decorating will take place prior and clean up immediately afterward.
Families are welcome so bring your self or the whole crew! EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
We will be having a Pot Luck Dinner this year. You are welcome to bring your favorite dish or holiday treat to share with others, but it is not required for you to bring anything for you to attend the event.
We have Ice and utensils. EVERYTHING ELSE IS WELCOMED!
In the log, if you are planning on bringing a pot luck dish or treat, please mention what food you will bring.
We hope to have entertainment from the East Side Pickers again this year!
For those who wish to participate we will be playing the white elephant gift exchange. The gift should be wrapped and $10.00 or less.
The game is also known as Yankee Swap, Kris Kringle, Dirty Santa, GiftWar, Grinch Exchange, Rob Your Neighbor, Nasty Christmas and Chinese Gift Exchange.
The rules of the game:
1. Each person playing draws a number.
2. On the first turn, the guest with #1 chooses a gift, opens it, and reveals it to all the other players.
3. On the second turn, the guest with #2 gets the choice of "stealing" #1’s opened gift or choosing a new unopened gift. If #2 steals #1's gift, then #1 must choose and open a new unopened gift.
4. On the third turn, the guest with #3 gets the choice of "stealing" either #1’s or #2’s opened gift, or choosing a unopened gift.
5. This continues until all gifts are opened.
6. You cannot steal from the person who just stole from you.
7. A gift is out of play once it has been stolen 3 times.
