Geocache Description:

cache is located in a 335-acre wma, open seasonally for hunting, and fishing on a 120-acre freshwater lake system. there is a boat ramp to launch canoes, kayaks, and electric-powered fishing boats.

welcome to the dod ponds. this is an advanced boater cache, as the pond system here is large, with some extremely deep places. it can also be windy here at times, with a little surface chop, so know your limitations and be safe. this lake was dug by the army corps of engineers many years ago, and has been stocked with several different fish species since it's official opening as a wildlife management area. it is a great place to see wildlife, including deer, herons, swans, geese, ducks, beaver, muskrat, turtles, snakes, and fish. there are some real lunkers in this lake, and i have even seen crabs in here. the first set of coordinates will lead to stage 1. here you will find the missing coordinates for stage 2, which is the cache location. the cache is a camoflaged rubbermaid container with an assortment of great swag, including a special prize for the first to find: the white jeep, "ashla." for those who miss out on ashla, there are a couple of hummers in there too, including one in army green, to thank the army for this wonderful place. the coordinates for stage 2: N39 45.xxx W075 27.xxx this is my first attempt at a multi, please no spoiler information or pictures in the logs--good luck and enjoy MY playground!! PLEASE POST NO SPOILER PHOTOS OR INFORMATION, INCLUDING PICTURES OF THE CACHE CONTAINER AND GROUND ZERO. Thank you and enjoy!
