Geocache Description:

Come all ye ghosts & ghouls, trolls & fools... come one...come all...gather with us all! Come join a ghostly gatherin'... a time for spooky fun & cachin'!

Good day fellow cachers. The time has come to commit to the gathering. October 18th 2007 8:00 PM will be that last time that we will be able to make sure that we have enough favors to go around. You are still welcome to come but the favors may not be available for you. Sorry for this but we have to have some time to react to the late committers. Thanks, hope to see you there!!!
A Ghostly Gathering, hosted by The Ladies Of Caching (AKA: Mama-Splash, BookWormQueen {from PokerPlayingEMT-&a-BookWormQueen}, Dental Sheila, Desiree1446 and my3sons_in_beaverdam)!
Location: Super 8 Motel, Columbus, WI. Saturday, October 27, 2007; 3:30pm - 8:30pm.
Prizes will be awarded for Adult and Kid costume contests and a free-hand pumpkin carving contest (please be honest on free-hand pumpkin carving and have your pumpkin ready before the event). There will be lots of activities for all, so come dressed for the occassion (and for the weather). Be sure to bring a flashlight or two for a few night caches! (The coordinates to the caches will be provided at the event) Help us make this event a success! (There will be a few unactivated geocoins given as prizes, as well as other items).
Please RSVP by October 18th if you plan to attend, and include the number of adults as well as the number of children & ages of the children, who will be attending so we can plan to have enough age-appropriate goodie bags!
*This is a FREE event for all. Donations will be accepted & appreciated but are not required. To pay for the expenses, there will be a haunted house container at the event, if you choose to donate.
Added Note: BookWormQueen here... I've checked into having an event geocoin customized for this event, but wanted to find out first if there's any interest in purchasing an event geocoin before I decide to place the order or not. The coin will be an untrackable, micro-event geocoin...A very neat/unique geocoin for collecting, trading, placing in caches, etc, etc. It will have color on both sides with a raised 3D effect. The front side of the coin will look exactly the same as the collectible geopin I'm giving out at the event. (See photo in gallery). The back side of the coin will have a cute ghost in a graveyard scene. If anyone would seriously be interested in purchasing an event coin, please submit your request to BookWormQueen ASAP so I know whether or not there's enough people interested...if there isn't enough interest you will be notified. The cost would be exactly $10 per coin, which would need to be paid to BookWormQueen on or before the event date. Please submit your request to BookWormQueen at ladies-of-caching@charter.net asap. Obviously, the coins will not be available on time for the event date, so I will either direct ship coins to anyone who orders, or deliver them personally if you live near Columbus or Madison. There will not be any additional charges for direct shipping.
