Geocache Description:

This is your standard ammo can hidden in the woods but you will first need to collect some information located at the initial coordinates. You may want to have a pen and paper with you.

“When I was growing up I had to walk 5 miles to school, barefoot, uphill both ways, in a blizzard!” We’ve all heard our elders tell these stories. But it’s true, children did walk to school, and not all that long ago. You will start off on a paved pathway from a neighborhood through a wooded area. The pavement is cracked and potholed and eventually disappears, but you can easily follow the beaten path. This is the way the kids walked each day to the nearby elementary school, 20-30 years ago.

There are two trailheads, the first (N40 02.045 W075 41.329) is closer but parking is better at the second (N40 02.113 W075 41.239).

Please be mindful of the neighbors, and I wouldn’t do this at night when people in the woods with flashlights might cause alarm.

At the initial coordinates:
Find the year that Barney Keesey left his mark. Add the four digits together and then add the sum to the product of the two digits in the year Ralph Nuse was there. Now divide by 2 and then by 1000. (this just gets the decimal in the right place, 3 places to the left) Subtract the resulting number from the initial North coordinate.

For the West coordinate, use the day of the month that “I” loved Dave. Divide by 1000 and add that number to the West coordinate.
