How Geocaching Works
The Cache is a Green PVC Tube about a foot long with a screw off cap with a smiley face on it. Please make sure the cap is on well and replace it UPSIDE DOWN in same spot to keep water out. It is just off a main trail so bushwacking is not neccesary.
We are placing this cache in celebration of the 2003-4 NHL Hockey season. This is now dedicated to all Hockey. :)
Lake Alimagnet is a Moderately sized park on the NW corner of Apple Valley on the edge of Burnsville. You can either enter from Alimagnet Park, they have a dog park as well as many ball fields, off of County Road 11 or from one of the many trails that come off of local subdivisions. Great paths here all year round with groomed Cross Country skiing as well. If you are a Frisbee golfer, they have just placed a new course on the south end of the park. Also, located to the south of the cache is an area of the lake that is irrigated in the winter so that birds can have access to water. Cache is about 20ft off of a path so there is no need to bushwack. A small Red fox and some deer hang out nearby as well. Please keep the cache well concealed and enjoy.
Please leave pencil and sharpener in cache with log book.
Also, there is a c-clamp with the cache in case there are troubles opening it. Please leave this there. Thanks
