Geocache Description:

This cache is on Angel Island in the San Francisco Bay. Boat ride, beautiful views, geocaching... what more could you want?

You'll have to plan ahead. Ferries to Angel Island leave from San Francisco, Tiburon, Oakland and Vallejo. Visit the Angel Island site for links to schedule and fare info: http://www.angelisland.org/

There is a fair amount of hiking (uphill) required to find this cache, but the views are worth it. Be sure to find your way to the top of Mt. Livermore. 360 degree views of Marin, Berkeley, Oakland and San Francisco. A perfect spot for a picnic, too. Dress warm; it can be cold and windy on the island, especially as you climb to the top.
