Welcome back to Keyser Park, former home of Muffinman’s C-3:The
Trilogy cache. Keyser Park has grown in the last few years. What
started out as a small playground park has expanded into numerous
ball fields, wide open spaces and a DOG PARK >!! Bring your cache-pup!
One of my first caches was placed at a dog park, down in
Cascade/Merriman Valley, in Akron. That one is called,
GO DOG, GO!!. So, I’m using that name again to name this one
here.
This cache I would rate as winter-doable. Over a foot of snow,
probably not. But I’m giving a good clue so if you have to dig a
little, you’ll find it.
Cache is a square Tupperware box, camo’d and hidden well. You
may need the hint to find it even without snow. You’ll see what I
mean when you approach the cache location. Terrain is 2 stars due
to the uneven ground, watch your step.
This side of the park is the new side, was originally farmland
purchased by the city. Park was big enough so I planted a 2nd cache
here,
From the Grassy Knoll! That one is on the other side of the
park, which is within walking distance. Could park here and do both
caches.
This is the hiking viking's 51st
cache in the greater Akron area.
