This cache is located on the Larkin Bridle Trail off Allerton Farm Rd in Naugatuck.Parking coordinates are N41.463 W 073 04.895
I (Debbie), spent my high school years (circa early 1980's) in the brown raised ranch across the street from the parking coordinates.Kevin (my boyfriend at the time, now husband)and I hiked the Larkin Trail quite a bit, hence the name Blast from our Past. While we were hiding the cache with our 2 youngest, we saw 6 deer run by in the snow, quite awesome. Anyway, cache is a rubbermaid container. The terrain is a 2.5 because we hid it in the snow and it was a little slippery. Trekking poles came in quite handy. Once again, the FTF is a gift certificate for a free dozen donuts at Krispy Kreme.!! Our daughter picked the hiding spot, very easy for children . Cache is stocked with trinkets for kids and adults.
