Nantmeal Village has settled by Welsh and Irish Quakers in the 1700's. The site of their meeting house is marked, but it no longer stands. Instead the prominent church is the Nantmeal United Methodist Church built in 1852. The Gothic Revival steeple with a circular stained glass window was added in 1902 along with other stained glass windows.Check the outdoor announcement board for the chicken barbeques and spaghetti dinners open to the public. Parking for this geocache is available across the street from the church.
This geocache is NOT at the church or on church grounds. In fact you will be walking away from the church. There is no need to move much (except accumulated leaves or a stone) or dismantle anything significant to find this cache. Please do not de-construct the historical village! Just look, find, reach, and grab.
