Geocache Description:

This short series takes you through the 10 years of changes we've seen in geocaching starting with the traditional tupperware box finishing up with, well, the areas current puzzle and maybe the future?! In each container is a number which you need to locate the bonus cache.

Cache number 3: Yep, the marmite one, you either love them or hate them, its the drive-by. As GPSr's have become more affordable so geocaching has become more mainstream and the number of people taking part has exploded. With this explosion of players has come an explosion of caches and a greater emphasis by some on the numbers. As the countryside has become fuller and cachers have placed a greater emphasis on the numbers so our roadsides became the next place to hide caches at. Obviously with this came a higher chance of a cache being "muggled" so we started to see other types of containers that would be overlooked. This is a stone and there are a number of stones nearby that all look similar, one is the cache but will be easily overlooked by the casual eye.
