Congratz 2 Ktrum for FTF!!
May 4, 2014 I hosted a Birthday party for both my Son and my Daughter in Pavilion #2. My Sons' birth date was 4/27/2003 and my Daughter was born on 4/26/1999. Each year they are given the option to have separate parties, but they always choose to have one shindig with family and close friends. Each Year a man who I will call Uncle Crust consumes enough liquid courage to become the life of the party. Crust entered a dare with my Father in Law that he could not climb the embankment across the creek and before we could talk any sense into the argument,, Crust was off. He attempted to cross the log but was unsuccessful and took a dunk in the creek. My Brother in Law spent several minutes fishing Crust out and back onto the log. Once Crust was walked back across, he fell on a jagged section of the log, whacking his jewels then causing the loudest howl I ever heard from a man. This entire event lasted about 30 minutes and the whole family now has a story to laugh over for years to come. I took video of the whole thing, and posted it to facebook.
Today, I walked through Rustic Park and seen that the log had snapped and dropped into the creek, sadly.... So in honor of the log, and Crusts' adventure into the creek, I decided to place this cache in the nearby stump to help this memory live on. Enjoy the find, there are other caches in the park as well.
