This cache is accessible at high tide or low tide. Come alone or bring a friend. A great place for kids and dogs too. Walk the beach or take the trail, either will get you there. The cache is a Tupperware container wrapped in a black garbage bag. Lot’s of people visit this place, so the cache is well hidden. The original contents of this cache include the usual key chains and trinkets as well as a few cd’s and a dvd. Sunsets are a perfect time to visit here.
Washington State Parks have begun charging a $5 per vehicle day use fee at State Parks. Alternative parking is located 50 yards past the entrance to the park at a year round vista point(N 48 18.474 W 122 42.993). The cache may be approached from this location free of charge since the State Parks do not charge for walk-in visitors.
Warning: This state park boarders with Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. Do not attempt to approach this cache from a location other than the state park entrance or the above listed parking coordinates. If you keep to the beach you will be just fine. If you are on the trail you will come to warning signs after you have passed the cache. Walking on the beach past this point is ok, but is not needed to reach the cache. Be mindful of the posted warnings.
