It's a "bison" tube. (Google it if you don't know.)
There's no 'needle in haystack' here. Normally I despise 'micros in
the woods.' But mine are easily reached and have absolutely no
vegetation involved.

Out hiking on an already hot morning, on this fine summer 's day. This is a very nice canyon and is recovering nicely from the recent fires. I work nearby and walk here often. TFTC

Out for a nice hike up the canyon from where I live. Had the day off from work, so why not enjoy a hike as I get ready for the annual Sierra backpacking trip. A nice little 10 mile hike with 10 cache finds to boot. TFTC

One of 25 finds during a full day hike - almost 11 miles total. Good spot for a trail micro. At this point in the hike, it was starting to heat up. Beautiful weather, though. Thanks for the hide!
