Geocache Description:

Look for a moose (swamp-donkey) at Moose Point State Park! Follow the shoreline trail for most of the trip. Travel is along well maintained, hard packed trails with a little diversion at the end.

This cache has been updated to a new ammo can. Several bags as well as a log and small items are in the cache. Please be sure to *double* bag the log. Soggy logs are not fun.

Parking is either at the base of the park (down by the water) however, you MAY have to pay a $2 fee. (This will be about a 1/2 mile walk to the cache.) Or above the gate will give you about a 1.5-2 mile walk. Pay the fee and support the Maine parks ;-)

I believe that bikes are NOT allowed on this trail system (FYI).
