Geocache Description:

This trailhead in Ano Nuevo State Park is marked with a buried driftwood log known to locals as 'The Fist'.

For decades it has shown the way to surfers, sunbathers, and picnickers headed to the beach. Artists and photographers also come here for the views of the Pigeon Point lighthouse. But up until now, this spot hasn't had a cache. Now it does.

The trailhead sign regarding 'archeological remains' refers to a burial site for shipwrecked mariners. Please report and do not disturb any remains you might find while visiting.

The hide is a bison tube. It's out of sight, but should be easily findable anyway.
