June 6 by Cheeseman52 (98 found) If I read clues better this would have been a piece of cake. Instead I walked the loop backwards and looked in and behind every stump I walked past. I think others have done the same considering the tramped down ferns around several stumps.

May 30 by EFHutton (1967 found) When I was doing this one today with my daughter, A+, I didn't realize that it was a letterbox-hybrid. I was pleasantly surprised to find out when I opened the box that it was. Great hide! She made the find, but I was holding the GPSr to get us there. It was a team effort. Found a geocoin in it that had been dropped into the wrong cache, but it will be straightened out now. Left a geocoin in it's place. Stamped the LB logbook too! Thanks for the great LB-HB! (1659)

April 10 by _Shaddow_ (901 found) My first letterbox hybrid but my second Lightning Jeff letterbox; found another by chance last week. Also once found another letter box placed by a different hider by chance on the north side of Cougar Mt. Though my third letterbox, this is the first time I've actually had the experience of reading through the story and text to make the find. Quite a bit different then following a electronic arrow and a heck of a lot of fun!Dropped coin and discovered the State Your Business TB since I moved it less then a month ago

April 5 by Hiker Pete (118 found) Good thing there was a clue to follow as my coordinates were way off. There is a new sign attached to the bear and cougar sign that advises a bear was seen recently in the area. Took my camera out but no such luck in getting a glimpse of one. TNLN.

July 27, 2008 by btrueblood (692 found) Dad and David out for some geocaching, after dropping the older boys for their Scout camp trip. Found easily, using the letterbox clues...we will have to look into that aspect of the sport. David's friend and her Mom are into that, so we may have to figure out a stamp. Thanks for the cache. Traded swag and signed the geo log, will leave the LB log for another time.

January 20, 2008 by Joe & the JAE Family (4269 found) Ok, so I basically came out this way to bag this one. I was also intrigued by the idea of getting a letterbox, a puzzle, a multi and a traditional cache in one walk. I don't think I've done that before. Maybe never again. December 8, 2007 by Puppers (8636 found) While we've done other letterbox hybrids, this is the first one we've done using letterbox instructions only (OK, we had the GPSrs programmed "just in case"). But as Red&Blondie indicated, it was pretty easy finding the final considering there was a geocacher on top of it! . Fun meeting a fellow south-end cacher! November 23, 2007 by intolerable (1078 found) If I'd had a letterbox hybrid notification set up I would have bent over backwards to be FTF on this one (or, in this case, even STF would have worked) TFT just didn't cut it this time!Just the same, the cache sounded interesting and sounded like something that mightyzinn might like more than geocaching as he would have stuff to look for along the way. This morning decided that I would give this a spin the proper way and have no doubts that letterboxing would be be a ton of fun for mightyzinn and redegg (and me as well!) So, super cool coin was missed, but was introduced to a whole new game, so it can't be all that bad :-) Thanks much for introducing us to this and for a nice cache! Swapped TBs

November 23, 2007 by AndrewRJ (4000 found) Very nice cache! Glad to see one of these rare icons in our neck of the woods. I had this idea that maybe the wife would be a bit more into the letterboxing aspect as she isn't very into the geocaching part. I was right. November 20, 2007 by Moun10Bike (7620 found) This was a great way to spend lunchtime on a sunny day. Even though I am often saddened when I return here and think back on all of the mountain biking I did on these trails before they banned my favorite activity from the watershed, the place is still a beautiful and enjoyable place while on feet. I located the container with no problems (I went the geocaching route, as I am a GPS aficionado) and was surprised to crack open the logbook and see no other signatures. Where was everyone today? I left the geocoin (since I already traded with Lightning Jeff years ago) and exchanged pathtags. I also put my stamp in the letterbox log. I really liked your custom stamps, by the way! Thanks for a nice outing, even with the crazy additional waypoint!
