Cache is hidden off of Burnt Meadow Rd. in Ringwood along the red blazed Stonetown Circular Trail.
Located at Tory Rocks on NY/NJ Trail Map # 21.
I parked at 41 05.989 74 19.197 along Burnt Meadow road.
Burnt Meadow road turns to rough road between
41 05.929 74 19.125 and 41 06.106 74 19.442
Caution should be used in a normal car, certainly if approached from the Ringwood side. West Milford approach would work best. 4wd is not required except maybe in snow conditons, just clearance.
Caution should be used at ground zero due to steep rock drop offs. Rumor has it that British spies hid along the rocks here.
Cache was a strange container. Now that container is inside the ammo box. Ammo box is painted with flecstone paint.
Patches would work the best. Could be a good theme.
