Chorro Grande Springs Traditional Cache

From the top the hike is only a 1.5 mile round trip. Parking altitude 7050'- The Springs are at 6480' Look for the trail head sign on the right- or park at the last camp.
The container fits it's location nicely. Should be an easy find, but please make sure to put it back just the way you found it. A nice springs is "squirting" out water nearby- and someone made a catchment dam so getting water for cooking/drinking/washing is easy. Campsite has a grill/firepit. Ponderosa pines and lots of rock formations highlight this nice little hike- Excelent views of the channel islands.
