“WISCONSIN SPIRIT QUEST”

The Wisconsin Spirit Quest series of geocaches will take you to a number of historic cemeteries or other historic sites. In five years, the quest has grown to over six hundred caches hidden in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Ontario, Wisconsin, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, and North Dakota and the hiders have grown to over thirty cacher teams.
Over 1,000 cacher accounts had logged over 25,000 finds when we quit counting.

"Old Pound Township Cemetery"

This Cemetery is in Pound in Marinette County.

For years we have been driving with in .2 of this cemetery and have never noticed it. Recently on one of our trips thru the area, Val noticed some of the stones, and exclaimed “I think there is a cemetery there.” It took a while to find some info on this cemetery. It does not appear on any maps. The earliest burial is in 1880. Scattered around the cemetery there are a few veterans. It is a well kept cemetery that has not been used since 1976.
