Geocache Description:

Easy drive by cache near the street. Parking lane and sidewalk available. Do not park at the buss stop. It is a busy street so I prefer to park at the parking waypoint and walk. This is a log only cache, BYOP.

This cache is a tribute to Bob Ross, the fuzzy haired host of the "Joy of Painting" TV Series, and all those who paint using his wet-on-wet method. It isn't fine art but oil painting for the rest of us.

Bob always put Bright Red paint on his palette but didn't use it much in the course of the painting. Sometimes he did not use it at all. Usually when he did add it to the brush it was for use as a duller. (Green and red make brown.) But, he almost always signed his paintings in red. Those who paint with this technique need only place a small dab of Bright Red on their palette. A small 37ml tube of Bright Red will likely last you a lifetime. White and the yellows, on the other hand, go fast.

Re-runs of "Joy of Painting" can be seen along the Wasatch Front on KUEN Channel 9, Sundays at 3:00 PM.

When you log your find online please share an art experience that you had sometime during your life. Tell about your third grade picture of a dog that your mom posted on the refrigerator. Tell about the seventh grade art assignment that you got an F on. Great photo that you took while geocaching, anything art related.

Congratulations to heysparkles for first to find.
