How Geocaching Works
Jen introduced me to Geocaching so this is a cache to celebrate her 100th cache find!
Updated 3/14/2010 - Moved this cache slightly to be more "winter" friendly and stealthier.
This is the "My Friend Jen" cache (GC1NRPZ) which was muggled twice at Racoon River so I moved it to a nicer 'hood - now it's hangin out near my other caches.
Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells when searching for this cache at the Brenton Arboretum! Sit, relax, stay awhile....but wear sunblock.
This area has a lot of wild plants mixed in with the Arboretum's tree's, so be mindful - there can be wild parsnip (which some people get a reaction from the oils), ticks, assorted bugs, bees, and wild animals.
Arboretum is geocache friendly, but tread lightly as a part of the beauty of this place is it's natural tall grass and wildflowers.
Up at the main Building, there are some great books for reading and maps of the area. You can also find a restroom there if needed.
