Kemet
Park Needs Your Help! It is located on Kemet Way in
Simpsonville.
The Bushy Tail Series of caches are located in this park. It is a
very neglected area that we have adopted and are trying to
revitalize. The trail needs to be raked free of leaves and debris.
It needs to be redefined with deadfall logs that are readily
available in the park. There is still an enormous amount of trash
to be picked up. There are a lot of poisonous plants in the area,
so if you are sensitive, dress accordingly. The clean up will be
from 10am until 1pm with a pot luck lunch to follow. Plenty of
refreshments and tableware will be provided. While there are no
picnic tables there are two sets of bleachers in the shade for
seating. Anyone with rakes, chainsaws(and can use them)and any
other helpful tools, please bring them.
