Geocache Description:

There is the Joshinji temple at Setagaya-ward. The temple is called Kuhonbutsu popularly.

This temple was established by Aseki in 1678 during the Edo period. Here was the Okusawa-Zyou(Castle or Fort) until the late 16th century. In the temple, there are Hondo (main hall), three Amidado, Shourou (Bell tower), etc.
The Hondo is on the east side (It means real world), three Amidado are on the west side (It means paradise). There are 3 Amitabhas in each Amidado, so this temple is called Kuhonbutsu.

Nearest station is "Tokyu Kuhonbutsu" station, From the station to the temple continues to be the approach. There is The Gate of the Tow Deva kings (Ni-o mon) at the coordinates. How many attendant bodhisttwas were installed on the second floor ? ... X

浄真寺(じょうしんじ)は東京都世田谷区奥沢七丁目にある浄土宗のお寺で、通称、九品仏(くほんぶつ)と呼ばれています。

このお寺は、16世紀末までここにあった奥沢城の廃城跡地に、江戸時代の1678年僧侶の珂碩により開かれました。広い境内には、向かい合わせに立つ本堂と3つの阿弥陀堂、鐘楼などが建っています。本堂は東側にあって此岸(現世)を表し、阿弥陀堂は西側にあって彼岸(西方浄土)を表します。それぞれの阿弥陀堂には3体づつ、計9体の阿弥陀如来像が安置されています。これら9体の阿弥陀様を九品と呼ぶとことから、このお寺は通称「九品仏」と呼ばれています。最寄り駅は東急線の九品仏駅で、駅からお寺まで参道が続いています。

座標は仁王門(山門)の位置を示しています。仁王門には一対の仁王像の他、楼上に阿弥陀如来と"X"体の菩薩像があるそうです。コンテナは山門からオフセットされた位置に隠しました。コンテナにはペンは入っていません。
