Located in Peninsula State Park, Ranger Rick's Peninsula Two-Step is an official Ranger Rick geocache. Ask for a trail map at the Nature Center or Park Headquarters. Geocachers must use trails to travel between stages and follow all state park rules. The stage two cache is located about 10 yards off the trail. A state park vehicle sticker is required. About one mile.
Grab a partner for the Peninsula Two-Step, a family-friendly cache that traverses meadow and forest. A fox trot to the first stage might seem a quick step. Swinging to stage two, however, calls for fancier hoofing.
Ask for a trail map at the Nature Center or Park Headquarters. Geocachers must use trails to travel BETWEEN stages and follow all state park rules. Stage two is located about 10 yards off the trail. A state park vehicle sticker is required. Distance covered is about one mile.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Peninsula State Park Superintendent of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on the Department of Natural Resources managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. This has been done and the Peninsula Superintendent has given permission for the placement of this geocache.
