Take a walk on the Tortoise Trail to find this cache. It is nestled in the hardwood hammock and hiding in plain sight right alongside the trail! Please do not stray off the trail
This is the 3rd cache located at Camp Bayou Preserve. Camp Bayou is located 3 miles south of SR 674 at the end of 24th St SE in Ruskin, FL. The Camp Bayou Outdoor Learning Center parking area is open Thursday- Sunday from 9am-2pm. The preserve itself is publicly owned through Hillsborough County's ELAP (Environmental Lands Acquisition and Protection) program so it is permitted to enter during daylight hours, 8am-6pm, 7 days a week. Be advised that this is a wildlife preserve and you may encounter any number of potentially hazardous critters or plants. Exercise caution when retrieving the cache.
