Beautiful hilltop view
After finding Rexroth's Cabin (GC1060G) last weekend, I took Erickson's advice and came back this week to follow the fire road into GGNRA. Eventually I found myself on this beautiful hilltop and just had to place a cache. Unfortunately, I hadn't brought my GPSr, so I couldn't get precise coords. These are from Google Earth. This should be close enough to get you on the right hill. The cache is at an obvious property corner, the northern corner of a long salient from SPT State Park. It's a mini-flashlight, too small for a pen. Good luck, and enjoy the view and the cows.
Note that if you follow the dirt road from Rexroth's Cabin you will encounter a No Trespassing sign where the road leaves the park. Back up a couple hundred yards to where a road cuts up the hill and follow that to the cache. It's a climb, but you won't be sorry when you see the view.
