3rd and Emmons Traditional Geocache

An easy cache where 3rd Avenue crosses over Emmons Creek. This is a cache placed overlooking Emmons Creek in a nice spot between my other caches along the Ice Age Trail. 

The Ice Age Trail makes its way over this bridge as it continues along the Faraway Valley Loop in the Emmons Creek Fishery Area. Emmons Creek is a fine little trout stream which makes it's way initially from Fountain Lake and travels 7.4 miles to the northeast where it enters the west side of Long Lake on the Waupaca Chain. I parked along the road placing the cache but small parking areas are available a short walk away on either side of the bridge if you are attempting any of the other area caches or wish to do some fishing.
