Join us on the lawn at Santa Barbara City College as we celebrate the start of a new moon, and the end of the "7 Souvenirs of August" challenge.
if you haven't yet found all six cache types this is a great opportunity to both log an event cache, and discuss different caches - and swap clues - with your fellow geocachers.
The event begins at 6:01 PM to coincide with the setting of the new moon (thanks RocketBrewer for setting the record straight). We hope you can make it. Parking is available nearby on Campus for a fee, or across the street from the stadium for free.
There will be a group photo and a raffle with prizes galore! We hope you can attend and look forward to seeing you there.
UPDATE: there WILL be several new caches published to coincide with this event. We will be forming the 'New Moon Caching Crew' to go and search for them when they go live. We hope you can stay and participate in the hunt!
