Geocache Description:

A secret trailhead at 2500 feet elevation.

We found out about this trailhead while talking to a mountain biker at a different secret trailhead. This one is only accessible by four wheel drive, as the dirt road is rather bumpy and rutted in places. Also, the road is closed to vehicle traffic from October 15 - April 15. We had been looking for a back way into Nisene Marks for a while so that we could avoid the 8.5 mile hike to Between Overlooks cache. This turned out to be just the ticket, as the cache was only a 1.7 mile hike from this trailhead.

This cache is a 1.5 quart rubbermaid container covered in camo duct tape. It contains the usual stuff.
