Here's how it works. The box is secured with a combination lock. There are several ways to obtain the combination. You can use one method, or mix them up if you
like.
Method 1 (The Hiker's Solution): There are 3 micros hidden in the area. Each one has part of the combination. You simply have to walk to each one, find it, record the combination code, and you're in. This method will make for a very pleasant hike of about 4 miles. Each stage is near a trail, so the park map will be very helpful.
You'll find the micros at these coordinates:
Micro A-N40.56.644,W74.22.082
Micro B-N40.56.693,W74.22.681
Micro C-N40.56.892,W74.22.287
These coordinates may change periodically, so make sure you have the latest page before setting out.
Method 2 (The Geocachers Solution): I have a number of other caches in the area. Many of them have a clue for this cache taped to the logbook. If you find one, jot it down somewhere and once you've collected all three, you're set. Please leave the clues in the caches for others to find.
Method 3 (The Travel Bug Solution): I have released a Turkey Trot travel bug that will move around Morris County. It will have the combination for the lock. Find the Turkey Trot Bug and you're in.
If you find it, please don't hang on to it too long, and I wouldn't be too upset if you hid it in one of the those great MO county caches that deserve more visits.
Method 4 (The Collector's Solution):
I will be dropping off clues with part of the combination in random area geocaches. When you collect all three, you're in. Please leave the clues in these caches for others to find.
Each combination digit will have a corresponding letter (A, B & C). You'll know you have all three when you have each letter. On the bottom of the ammo box is code that will let you know which order to place the digits so you can unlock the box.
Let us know which method(s) you selected to gain access in your log.
Please don't share the combination with others, as it will spoil the fun of hunting down the combination and the entire point of the cache.
