Each year, in the heat of the summer, my in-laws flock from all
around the country to this site to visit the rest of the central
Texas family. So on one of my trips through Lockhart this weekend,
I thought I would honor that yearly tradition with a geocache.
If you've never been to this particular spot in Lockhart before,
you'll soon see that you are at a great location to watch the
planes take-off and land at Lockhart International Airport. So pull
up some lawn chairs, pop open some cold drinks, and enjoy the show
like my in-laws do!
Special Note: The phrase "Lockhart International
Airport" is just a joke for those of you who haven't been here
before. It is really just a landing strip in a field barely long
enough to handle a few single engine props and the occasional
bi-plane, but you are plenty far away for safety.
