Peter Smith opened the Indian King Tavern on this site in 1787. A journal account in 1815 describes the Indian King, "convenient square log house, 2 stories high with 3 rooms on a floor with a cellar under and adjoining kitchen." The Tavern lost it's license in 1842. The tavern sat unoccupied until c. 1930 at which time it was torn down.
You seek a small lock n lock that is camo'd. Busy intersection so please be careful. Your best bet is to park next to the electrical tower in the one parking spot access road and walk to the cache. My guess is that there will be some buskwacking needed during late Spring and Summer. Further down on Boot Road (across Pottstown Pike and past the Wawa) a development of houses now shares the name Indian King. Enjoy!
