Delta Mist Traditional Geocache
clamdiver: I made in to the cache site today. The fires in the area burnt up the cache. I had no luck of finding the slightest sign of a cache ever being there. The place was well burned over. The hot springs is still in good shape.

Out of McCall take the Warren Wagon road 34.7 miles to the turn off to Chinook C.G. From there follow the trailforabout 4.3 miles then follow the GPS. Don't cross the bridge at the campground, but take the trail that goes down the Secesh.
The trail is easy, well maintained. You will have to wade the river to reach the cache, so I recomend that it not be attempted in the early part of the year. The cache is a three quart rubber maid container, and is up the hill a ways from the river. The elivation is some over six thousand feet. Happy Caching. Be sure to take a cammera, Dont cross the Loon Cr. bridge, and try to bushwack it. I tried. Its pretty nasty. The cache contains a air speed indicater That I retrived from a wrecked homebuilt at the head of fitsum Cr., and misc. other items.
