Geocache Description:

This is an easy but beautiful hike around a town reservoir, Little Crane Pond.

The trail has been “improved” with crushed asphalt so you can even push a stroller. Many varieties of wildflowers are everywhere in summer. If you go in the winter suggest you stick to the trail and do not cross the ice. (Due to springs it often isn’t as thick as you might think.) Members of our local coyote population can often be seen and heard in the fields and wooded areas around the pond. Ow ow oowwwwwwww.

Left the Big Easy Troll travel bug to begin her journey south. Only achieved accuracy of 57 ft at the cache so coordinates may be a bit off. Once again, first finder earns the naming rights. Parking is at N42° 46.617 W070° 57.388. Cloe
