Geocache Description:

A walk along the Essex Way through a nature reserve.

The cache is hidden close to Gernon Bushes, which is a nature reserve managed by The Essex Wildlife Trust.

It's open through out the year and can be visited at any time. There are numerous well defined footpaths through the woods.

Gernon Bushes is the last remnant of the old Coopersale Common and it has many ancient hornbeam pollards plus some more recent woodland. Wildlife abounds.

You can park in Coopersale or alternatively you can walk to the cache site along the Essex Way from Epping Station (on the Central Line).

The Essex Way is a long distance footpath, about 80 miles long, linking Epping to Harwich.

The cache contains the usual expensive items, along with our very own patented 'Rite-in-the-dry' logbook.

Difficulty and terrain worked out using Clayjars Formula.
