NOTICE: THIS IS NOW A VIRTUAL CACHE. this cache is located on the
umtanum creek trail. altitude was 2417. e-trex accuracy was within
30'.
you can park .8 miles from the cache site, the roads are not paved
but have been taken care of so you wont need to use a 4x4.
UPDATE... 7-4-02 This cache is now a virtual cache. I went in today
and pulled the remainders of what it was... kind of sad. Even the
ammo box that it was in was gone. just a baggie with the notebook
and pen and a few trinkets. Many people found it by accident and
respected what it was and simply signed it or even traded objects.
it only took one fellow though to take it... left a note. I TOOK
YOUR STUFF... THANKS. It made me laugh that he even left a note.
anyhow this is now a virtual cache. It is still very much worth the
trip for the scenery.
