Banvallen B33 Traditional Geocache

Efter att Västgötabanan mellan Göteborg och Forshem lades ner 1967 har den gamla banvallen på många håll blivit gång/cykelbana.

After the Västgötabanan between Gothenburg and Forshem were decommissioned in 1967 the old railway embankment have been turned in to a cycle and walking path.

Så även sträckan Gråbo till Linnarhult som tar dig på en vacker tur utmed kulturlandskapet.Hela trailen är ca 17 km lång och utmed vägen finns några fina ställen att stanna och fika.Banvallen är asfalterad hela vägen.Trailen är ej lämplig att ta med bil utan det är cyklandes eller gåendes som lämpar sig bäst.Moped går också bra men då endast moped klass II (max 30km/h) då detta är en gångbana.Cacherna är relativt enkla med några lite högre svårighet/terräng.PET-rör är den vanligaste cachen utmed trailen men ett antal mindre förekommer också.Enda redskap som behövs är penna, pincett och kanske även en griptång om man är kortare än 180 cm.Och snälla medcachare, logga dessa cacher utan mugglare i närheten och återplacera på exakt den plats ni hittar dom så att cacherna lever länge.

So even the stretch Gråbo to Sjövik that takes you on a scenic ride in the cultural landscape.The entire trail is about 17 km long and along the way there are some nice places to stop for a picnic.The embankment is paved all the way.The trail is not suitable to take by car. Use bike or go by foot, that are the most suitable.Moped is also possible but only Class II moped (max 30km / h) as this is a walking path.The caches are relatively easy but some have slightly higher difficulty / terrain.PET tube is the most common cache along trail but smaller sizes do also occur.The only tools needed are pencil, a pair of tweezers and perhaps even a gripper if you are shorter than 180 cm.And please fellow cachers, log these caches without muggles around and replace in exactlythe place you found them so that the caches have a long life.
