The Chinook Fish and Wildlife Cache series is a group of 7
caches that will introduce you to the Chinook Fish and Wildlife
Area. All seven caches are located within the F&W boundaries.
The first six caches are decon containers … they contain clues that
will enable you locate this, the final cache.
The coordinates for the final cache are: N 39° 27.ABC’ W 087°
11.1BC’
In each of the six containers I have placed a label with a
letter and number (i.e. A-6 or A-9). Your challenge will be to
determine where each number belongs. If I have figured correctly,
there are eight possible combinations, but only one will lead you
to the cache. Oh, and by the way…the Chinook Wildlife area is over
1200 acres, so bring you hiking boots.
Also be advised that this is a public hunting area. Please
wear proper clothing during hunting season.
And a final word of warning...There are several Black Locust
trees in the F&W area. If you find yourself sliding down a
hill, think twice about what you are grabbing hold of!
