Geocache Description:

The cache has been renamed from "Cala Mastella" to "Es Caló de sa Barca Rampuda". I always thought that this small bay might be a part of Cala Mastella, but now I learned that it's got its own name, after a ship sank down right at the bay.


This is the first regular cache on Ibiza island.

It is placed at a small unknown bay. You can climb the rocks on the right-hand-side along the fence for about 80 yds. and find a nice place to get into the water. Swimming and snorkelling/diving is wonderful here (but be careful if the waves are high!). Perhaps you find the sunken ship???

Note on cache maintenance: My parents-in-law have a finca in a distance of 500m from the cache. So it would be possible to guarantee a constant support for the cache.
