A small micro located along Summit Street near a popular viewing overlook of the Iowa Interstate Railway yard in Iowa City. The kids will like this location. This is a great spot to sit a spell, have a picnic lunch, enjoy a sunset, or just watch the trains. A nearby plaque tells the story of building the first rail service to Iowa City.

The cache is log only, so please bring a pen. We also recommend bringing your tweezers. Please take care not to drop the container when retrieving and replacing the cache.

The cache is accessible from the sidewalk, and there is no reason to undertake any dangerous maneuvers to retrieve it. If crossing the street, please keep a close eye on the kids as this is a busier street at certain times of the day. Side-street parking is available near the cache.
