I've been in orlando for over a year, go to rollins at least once a week to relax, and listen to some tune-age, finally found this place,

p.s. this is a music cache, please fill with music related things. You're looking for a large camoed olive bucket.

So.... Ive had the privileged of living in central florida for going on how many years now? and i always succumbed to the same crappy mix of trendy pop rock and country music, and i hated every last minute of it.

When I moved out to Orlando from Orange City to go to Film school I had to change the channel. I found several bumper stickers with the call name WPRK on them, so I decided to check into it. turns out its a local college / community run radio station with a very very limited broadcast radius. in fact its only like a 10 mile radius. but this station is amazing! I instantly fell in love, and always wanted to find it so I could personally thank the people who DJ and run the station for finally playing the stuff ide only been able to hear on cd, tape and vinyl up to that point.

I searched and searched and searched, it took me nearly a year to find this place, and when i finally found it, i went straight inside and told them how thankful I was, instantly in awe of the immense cd collection, and the just overall cozy feel of the place, I decided to keep coming back. I drop off music here all the time, and sometimes they play it. Sometimes they dont, guess i listen to some pretty obscure stuff.

anyway, I do not work at WPRK even though ide love to, I do not even go to rollins college, but I do love the radio station, and that its public, and always on, even though when im outside the radius I have to listen online, le sigh. oh well.

I hope it was easier for you to find with the help of this little geocache than it was for me to find without one...

by the way... this large cache is for music fans, and is set up to send and receive music stuff. SO if you take something please bring something music related to replace it. thanks.
