Geocache Description:


Over the years I have spent a lot of time at the facility near here and one day discovered this seldom used trail along the creek. This is a nice easy multi that takes you for a short walk on this abandoned trail. Also, I have added a little Bonus cache to make it more interesting. There is another section of this trail located to the southwest and here you will find three more caches for a total of five in the series. The new section starts with the Number Three cache.

DIRECTIONS: 1) The listed coordinates are for the parking area nearest to the trail head. 2) Go to N45 32.084, W 122 53.059 and find a small plaque which lists the coordinates to the cache and puts you on the trail. The plaque is right on the trail.
3) Resist the urge to walk through the parking lots and stay on the trail while traveling to the cache. 4) This cache is small so please do not leave trade items. The log book is also small and there is no tool to write with so bring your own. 5) While the container is open, note the coordinates to the near-by bonus cache.
