Genius Loci: The container is missing, so it's time to archive this one. The cache has served it's purpose, and Hutt is well past his 3,000th Find by now, anyways. Thanks to everyone who hunted it!

This cache has been placed in recognition of Hutt's 1,000th Find. It's a silver ammo box hidden in the woods. Extend your congratulations to Hutt by finding the cache, signing the logbook, and by posting your "Found it" online.
In keeping with the Chicagoland tradition started by Fallenfaery and SpecialEd, I've placed this commemorative silver ammo box to honor Hutt, one of the North Shore's leading geocachers.
The cache is hidden in a seldom visited corner of the Skokie Lagoons Forest Preserve which will be wet and muddy at certain times of the year. There are only deer trails back here, so light bushwhacking will be necessary. Otherwise, this is just a good old fashioned ammo box in the woods.
