In recognition of Special Ed’s 2,000th cache find, we have placed a golden ammo box in the woods! Not only is Special Ed one of the leading cache finders in the area, he has also hidden well over a hundred caches for others to enjoy. Ed has been a major part in planning many of the local caching events and is always happy to lend a hand where it is needed.
Along with FallenFaery he has started this tradition of hiding these milestone caches in the Chicagoland area.
Parking is located at: N41º 39.915 W087º 51.700. A quick hike around the lake and a short bushwhack to the hide. Extend your congratulations to Special Ed and enjoy the cache!
