A statue by lake Balaton
This is a virtual geocache with a very real statue. At summer the place is so popular that I didn't even attempt to place a box with goodies for fear that it would disappear. In the winter – well, no one comes here in the winter.
József Attila is one of our favorite poets. His life was short (he died in 1937 at the age of 32) but fruitful. He has a statue in Budapest beside the parliament by the Danube. This other one at Balatonszárszó is near the place where he died. Train wheels (he committed suicide by jumping under a train) balancing parts of his poems and a huge rock. Come and see it.
To make things difficult, there is a password: The text in the bottom line on the side facing the lake. Two letters.
