Geocache Description:

I would like to introduce a new region to the game of geocaching with this cache. The surroundings of Jósvafõ are really worth a visit.

The cache has been temporarily retired and hence cannot be searched. The location belongs to a natural reserve and the Authorities requested the removal of the cache. We are in negotiations to find a mutually satisfactory solution pending which we would appreciate it if you could aviod visiting the site without explicit permission. Thank you.

The village is abundant in sights to see both over and under ground. I placed the cache not far from the village, on a lookout point of the Nagy oldal (Big side) above the grazing ground of the "hucul" horse herd. The box can be found at the bottom of the small rock wall at the foot of the hill. The surroundings is a real karst region, that is leg-breaking steep bushy hillsides with sink-holes everywhere. In the summer it is real hot and dry. Take along plenty of water to drink.

Allow me a personal note as well:

I dedicate this geocache to Emõke Lukácsi who I got to know in this area. With who I trekked for long miles the paths of the country and with who I found a lot of caches.
She I now looking for happiness on other roads. I cannot call her back but I'm waiting for her. Good luck dear Emcsi!
