Ericles: I made a swing through Cheesequake to pick up some disabled/archived caches and to check on my own hides. The solo-piggy is no more! This was my first "Little Piggy" hide but a little too far off of the trail and previous versions had been perpetually wet inside somehow despite the shelter afforded by the tree. Lots of logs were stacked up against said tree today. The cache was in good shape and dry. I dropped most of the larger contents into the Ghost Tree of Cheesequake cache. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the hike and hunt while the cache was still here. [:X]

Geocache Description:

This little piggy stayed home... and he'd be delighted if you'd pay him a visit!

This little piggy made his home in a safe place: Cheesequake State Park. He made his home easily accessible by either the Green or White trails. This solo piggy is pretty sure he'll be safe from the Big Bad Wolf in this spot. Muggles too! Don't tell him he's less than a third of a mile from Big Ed's BBQ though. . .

A hungry wolf would opt to park on Steam Boat Landing Road off of Rt.34 at the South West corner of the park for a quick 1 mile gnash-n-dash. Piggy's fitness minded cousin, Sonic the H-hog, prefers the 3 mile round trip green trail starting from the main trail-head.

Enjoy the park responsibly & please help keep this little piggy's home a happy one. Rebuild if necessary after your visit!
