This is in Leathers Park in Dayton, MN. The park is pretty empty, so there's not many places to hide a cache!
There's no room for a pencil, so bring your own (it's always a good idea to bring your own writing implement in case the lead breaks, needs sharpening, etc, anyway)
The City of Dayton has asked for input on what residents would like to see added to the city parks. At the time, this was just a large field with a sign at the Southeast corner.
I made a number of suggestions, one of which has been implemented (a small area to park on the North end, with posts to keep people from driving through the grass).
Please log your visits, even if you weren't able to find the cache. It'll help me gauge the correct difficulty rating and I can verify with greater frequency that the cache is still where it is supposed to be.
I've included as much cash as would fit in the container for the "first find" prize. Very small trade items may fit in the container once the cash is taken.
This is a winter-friendly cache, and should be findable year-round.

I replaced cache container and added a new logfile.
Please, please, PLEASE--after you sign the log:
1. close the ZipLoc bag tight
2. put the cap on tight
3. put the cache back where you found it

For now, I've placed a VERY easy to find container (and set the difficulty to "1").
Once the snow is gone, I will hide it better and bump the difficulty back up.
