Geocache Description:

RSS-The Sixth Skip
Part of the Rock Skipping Series (RSS)

Most of you can probably recall the hunt for the perfect skipping stone as a child. It had to be somewhat flat. It had to fit in the hand just right. Most importantly, it had to skip well. Those were the joys of being a kid by water.

On a tubing trip on Arizona's Salt River a few years back, I discovered what I have affectionately called "The World's Ultimate Skipping Stone". You may agree or disagree with me. I won't judge, but this baby has it all: flatness, rounded edges, good grip and it skips well.

It skips so well that I thought to give it a try here in Woodbury. I set out with my kids to show them what this stone could do. This sixth cache is where the stone landed next.

Skip #6 saw the stone wobbling really bad. The final skip hit the water just right, giving it enough momentum to finish its journey to its current resting place. As you follow this adventure, you too will see how this stone is "The World's Ultimate Skipping Stone".

Finally, to make this more challenging, I decided to incorporate it into a mystery/multi-cache. Lurking within each cache container [six in total] is a laminated sheet with all three pieces of information you need to obtain the true coords to the Stone's resting spot. The clues are, fittingly enough, music bands that my family believe ROCK! Good Luck!

Congrats to DANANDTINA05 & MNWild for being FTF!!!
